    Hi, I'd recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

    -Visit https://account.microsoft.com/services/ to make sure that the account you redeemed the Xbox Live Gold on shows that you are subscribed here. Also, make sure that account is signed in to your Xbox.

    -Try a power cycle of your Xbox. For instructions: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

    -Try removing and then re-adding your profile to the console. Note that you should only try this if you know the email/password associated with your account. For instructions: Add or Remove a Microsoft Account on Xbox One

    If none of the above work for you, I'd try contacting Official Xbox Support at Contact Us | Xbox Support to chat with a support agent.

    You may want to check Sign in to your Microsoft account to make sure it shows that you did redeem the code. If it does, or it shows an error, and you still can't connect, you'll want to contact support. 1-800-4my-xbox
    if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support If it doesn't show the subscription, you'll need to enter the code again.

    This past weekend was free play weekend so you would have been able to play online without a subscription. So if something had gone wrong when entering the code, it would have been harder to notice.

    a few steps you could try on your own is deleting your account from your Xbox and redownloading it. If that doesn’t work check you subscription status on your console. If your gold is intact missing you should contact Xbox support and see if they can help

    It was a 12 month gold card, I had gamepass before I redeemed the gold card so it should have just added the 12 months to my gamepass
