    Redeem 48 hour trial gold code error


    When I redeem my code on xbox live an error eventually pops up "Something happened on our side. Wait a moment - this can solve the problem." After 2 hours the problem still occurs. Can i fix it or can support activate my code?

    48 hour gold live trial will not work?

    I typed in my code to redeem my 48 hour trial for xbox live gold membership and it acknowledged i had the code but it didnt give me live gold..when i tried to reenter the code it said the code was already entered and still here i am with my free membership..
    anybody know what happend or what i have to do to redeem my 48 hour trial?

    My 48 Hour Trial Doesn't Work

    As far as I know it is not possible to redeem a 48 hour or 2 week trial code to a gold account.

    If you currently have an active Xbox Live Gold membership, you will not be able to redeem a trial membership on your account.

    Please ensure that your billing profile is updated by visiting your Payment options.

    Check that your Microsoft Account security proofs (Recovery Email, Primary Phone number, etc..) are current. You may update them here: Security

    If you still have trouble with redeeming your code, you may chat with Xbox Support anytime at Contact Us | Xbox Support

    Really a full trial? And, really a "Gold" weekend?

    As the name implies - It's a 48 hours "Gold Trial". To be considered as Full Gold, you will need to redeem at least a one month subscription.

    48 Hour Trial Cards are not Gold. They are only a Trial for the 48 Hours. You will not have all Gold Access. It will vary Game to Game.

    Why isnt this guy banned?

    When people have a silver gamertag but they're playing online it means that they used a 48 hour trial code. That lets them play online for 48 hours but it doesn't show up that they have gold because they don't... it's a trial.
