    Hi

    i have an xbox 360 slim and for a while now it has been showing me a red turn light where the center of the turn on button is and i tried to clean the inside of my xbox hoping it would help but it didnt.

    can you please help me??

    red light center of power button

    mine is doing the same thing but i let it sit for 12 hours and it still wont turn on it just turns green (no green flashing lights) then turns red but only the center of the power button

    I have been having a similar problem but when I tried to reformat my hard drive it was unable to reformat so I just turned it off and the center power button turned red any suggestions?

    Which model xbox 360 do you have? Is just the center light turning red? Does the outer circular light encircling the power button change color? When you hear the sound is it accompanied by the red light strobing/flashing/fading?

    it's not my console the problem is my hard drive. When I turn on my console with my hard drive inside the center point of the power button on the console turns red and the screen turns black with this: system error. contact xbox customer support. Written
