    Xbox one S from 2017... no issues until today. Tried 3 different HDMI cables on 2 TVs & 1 Computer monitor... messed around with the video settings & did full reset but still no luck... Functionally seems ok aside from the red screen.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this peculiar issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty disheartening of an issue to encounter. I see you had done a couple of troubleshooting steps already including a "full
    reset", but have you done a factory reset
    keeping your games & apps
    ?

    The last half of your post is hilarious. Is it completely red? Like you see nothing but a sheet of red, or everything is tinted red?

    Hi, hope all is well.

    Have you made sure that your HDMI for your Xbox is plugged into the correct HDMI port for your television? If everything is done correctly there shouldn't be any issues.

    If the issue persists, I recommend re-evaluating the position of the cables and if they're plugged in correctly, that they're in the correct ports and that the power supply isn't affected.

    If issues still persist it can come down to your Xbox (If aged) or television.

    If you have another television, I'd recommend trying plugging in your Xbox there and seeing if the issue persists.

    If there are still problems, it can come down to HDMI Cable, Xbox being aged or faulty. Hopefully your problem can be resolved

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Are there any changes that you have made before turning off your console?

    Also, To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.
