    Red lines across tv screen?


    Ever since I got my Xbox one brand new, red dotted lines have been appearing on the screen at rare times but they go way after a few seconds.

    Out of interest does the arial work on your TV without issue?

    TV Tuner flickering red lines

    Just bought an Xbox One Digital TV Tuner as I moved to a place that has no cable and just want to use Freeview. After the setup I noticed the screen flickering with red lines every few seconds when I'm watching TV through the tuner, even when i'm in the
    dasboard and have the tv in a smaller screen it will still happen on the whole screen. When I quit the TV app, it's gone. I've tried hard resets and removing all the other USB devices but to no avail. Even if I unplug the TV Tuner while the TV/OneGuide app
    is running I still get the red lines. Any ideas? Should I just RMA it?

    Hey there Bulls3y3Bobby!

    Sorry to hear about the issue! Have you tried a different HDMI cable? I would use a different HDMI cable to see if the issue persists. Before you try a different cable, I also recommend trying a full power cycle as well. Follow the steps below:

    • Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds, or until the unit is fully powered off.
    • Unplug the power supply from the back of the Xbox One console and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • Plug the power back in and power on.
    Try the steps above, as well as a different HDMI cable, and then post back to let us know if the issue persists! Red lines across tv screen? :)

    It only happens when the screen turns black for example during cutscenes and yes I switched cables I'm using the one that came with the xb1 now.

    Xbox one screen keeps going black every few seconds

    Nah, I'm having this problem on multiple tv's. The only difference is that on MY tv the screen goes black every once in a while and has glitchy lines going across the screen randomly, on the living room tv the screen just never goes to the xbox menu or anything, it just says no signal and nothing happens and on my kitchen tv there are no glitchy lines but the screen goes black like every other second...

    Yep me too, during games and on the dashboard. Seems to go away for a while when I restart the console but they always come back. Very distracting and annoying.
