red light on xbox 360s

When i power up my xbox 360s, the power light turns red after about 30 seconds. The is no signal to the TV at all (so no error codes). The power brick stays a solid green the whole time. Absolutely no sound comes from the xbox while the light is still
green (no humming or spinning sounds i usually hear).

The failure stays with the xbox (I have swapped HDMI's, swapped ports on the TV and tried another TV).

Hi All, I was playing on my Xbox when the Screen went blank and the TV symbol indicated no signal, On inspection of my Xbox I could see the green light on the power button was red. I turned it off and allowed it to cool but every time I turn it on now the
light is Green for a bout 2 seconds then it goes Red. My TV does not acknowledge a signal. After reviewing some items on here I tried using differant powerpacks (there are 3 of the same model in my household) to no avail, I checked all the wires were in properly,
I even tried taking them all out and setting it up again. The other suggestion was that the hard drive is faulty but this is internal... the Xbox is only 8 months old so it is in Warranty but is there anything I can do to fix it now?

Hi,

It seems like you've done most of the troubleshooting steps. I'll ask you to try one more before you'll have to essentially send the console in for a repair.

Have you tried to change the location of the console from one TV to another, using different A/V Cables (HDMI/Component)? If that doesn't work either, and you've already made sure it's not the power supply then your only other option in this specific case would
be to send it in for repair.

Try the following steps:

1. Let the power supply cool for about 30 minutes.
2. Plug the power supply into a different wall outlet.
3. Disconnect and reconnect all accessories.
   
4. Check the power supply.
   
5. Remove the hard drive.
   
6. If the above steps don’t solve the issue, you may need to order a replacement power supply from the Xbox Online Service Center. However, if you have
   a friend that has a power supply you can use as a test, you can confirm if this is the case or not.
