Red flashing light 360 slim

Discus and support Red flashing light 360 slim in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have a red flashing light on power button, won't even turn on to get error code, same thing when I hit eject button.     Red flashing light 360 slim


    I have a red flashing light on power button, won't even turn on to get error code, same thing when I hit eject button. Anyone able to fix this yet?

    Xbox 360 Slim - Piece of Crap Hardware

    A flashing green light? This means the disc tray is opening and/or closing. Unless you ment to say a flashing Red light which means the Xbox 360 Slim is overheating.

    so if you pull it apart and reflow the cpu with a heat gun and add a small amount of thermal paste to the cpu, put the cooling fins back on, but before u put the x clip back on I put a small piece of cardboard in the center of the x clip to hold the cooling
    fins just a bit tighter the clip back on. Put back together should be good to go. Worked for me anyway..... hope this helped.

    Just to ask, how many red rings are there if it's an older console? If it's a slim, do you get a flashing red light or a solid red light?
