    Red flashes on screen


    Hello I have some red flashes appearing on screen while playing Battlefield 4. I have tried a different HDMI cable and different TV but they still appear. It seems to be fine in the menus but once in the game it becomes very bad and makes the game unplayable.
    They also appear in other games. I have had the Xbox about 7 months. Could this be a problems with the graphics card? And if so how do I get this resolved? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Worthless Update is Worthless...

    A green or red flash on the screen would be very difficult to forget as its not meant to happen. It's not like a kill.

    There was a lot of red flashes on Wake Island just now. I thought I was getting flashed by a guy with a laser sight. It was that bad.

    If you believe it's a faulty console, you need to first of all register it at
    https://myservice.xbox.com     then you can arrange for a repair.

    Clearly you've already eliminated it being either the cable or the TV so it seems a repair is your last option.

    A. Only the consoles that do not have the HDMI will give a 4 red right error.

    -

    B.No. A faulty memory unit would probbaly get a on screen error that says E-(Sometihng) and one flashing red light

    Yes, my Xbox 360 is now showing three red lights so I follow the steps in the troubleshooter and it then clears the flashing red lights but then starts up with a frozen screen like this [View:http://youtu.be/oyd6G2aE5nM:550:0]
