    Red Flash When Switching Between Certain Interfaces


    I’m seeing an red flash on Xbox Series X when pausing certain games or transitioning between certain scenes on the UI. It only lasts for a single frame, but I’m not sure what I can do to eliminate it.     My TV is a Sony X90CH, and I’m using the Xbox in 4K/120hz mode. I see the issue appear in HDR and SDR. I’m also using the included HDMI cable, which is supposed to be high-speed.

    A few places I’ve noticed it are: Pausing in Control: Ultimate Edition, exiting the map in Ori and the Will of the Wisps and exiting the network settings screen of the system settings. If there isn’t a fix, and the issue is, in fact, the Xbox and not my TV, can the info be passed along to the dev team so that they can hopefully address it?

    I’ve already attempted a power cycle and other trouble-shooting steps.

    When doing this, my console switches between flashing and solid lights, almost like it's restarting itself over and over, but still no signal. And that cable works fine on my blu-ray player

    So far my favorite in the M4 silenced/red dot. I switch between assault and support. I find no use for the specialist strike package when I tried it last night.

    HDMI issue specifically with 360

    It's in No Way, a "Defective GPU", Silent Paradigm...

    Every Xbox 360 uses a HDMI v1.2 Interface & HDMI v1.2 has Handshake Issues with certain HDMI equipment, If the HDMI Input IC, can't switch sources, without keeping a dedicated connection or handshake (Caching) between the other source (Xbox 360) & overwrites
    the Cache/RAM to create a new handshake with the next AV Source..

    When you switch back to the Xbox 360 Source, it needs to refresh the Handshake again & the only way to do that, is for the Xbox 360 Console to reset etc..

    Point Being... It's the TV, that can't switch HDMI sources, without losing the last selected sources HDMI Handshake.. (Xbox 360)
