    Hi Microsoft & Xbox fan,

    Good day I'm Junriel from Philippines .

    I have a problem with my xbox 360 E, last week October 28, 2017 while playing for about half an hour the display suddenly freeze and we've noticed that the power indicator on my console turns red (on the center of its power button). I've also encountered
    this issue a year after I bought it last December 25,, 2015 from "Toy Kingdom Store - Cauayan Isabela Branch, Philippines" if I'me not mistaken I think it was last November 1, 2016 that day I immediately run to the store to consult them and they've suspected
    that my power supply is the root-cause. after several testing my console turns on again i'm very happy so I decided to go back home.

    But, this time my console doesn't back to life. As I did like the first issue I've already go back to store last October 29 and sadly they've told me that my warranty has been expired.

    I'm afraid to have my console handled by unauthorized xbox technician.

    My Xbox 360 E Has A Red Dot But A Green Ring?

    So, my Xbox 360 E console's power button has changed colour while some kids were in the middle of playing something.

    I know, "There are a lot of ways to diagnose and fix the different types of rings and dots, go look it up." and I would look it up if it wasn't for the fact that the Xbox E Model is very different from the other models and I can't find anything on it.

    Anyways, only the dot has turned red and isn't blinking. The ring around the dot is still green. The TV screen is showing the message that pops up when nothing is on.

    Does anyone know what the solid red dot and green ring means on the Xbox 360 E and how to fix it?

    XBOX 360 slim has a red dot in the middle of the power button.

    I have xbox 360 slim just 11 months old one day in sunday i turn on i see red dot. one day later its workd monday and tuesday(bad langue) then now its red again. but in tv not showing E error.

    I sorry to hear About that. Have you an Error Code when you plugged the Video Cable into a TV?

    Maybe the HDMI Port of your Console is faulty, have you blow air into the HDMI port of your Console do get dust away?

    Please call the XBOX Support, Maybe they have a Solution for you

    My console has turned red and the screen is blank

    Have all the lights turned red, if so, then it is just an issue with the video signal, try changing your video cable (hdmi or composite av cable)and see if that does the trick.

    If it is just 3 red lights or red dot (If Xbox 360 S or E), then that is a general hardware failure, which usually means the console will no longer work, and no way to fix.
