Red Dead Redemption

Much like Sword Style said, I too consider it to be one of the best games of the past generation. The narrative is excellent, and you'll especially enjoy it if you're a fan of the spaghetti western genre. Plus, if
you have a group of friends and you set up a private match, you can have a lot of fun in multiplayer.

@Scratch, I remember when you and I joined Bogey online to try to unlock the "Hit the Trail" achievement together, in unison. Of course, that didn't go according to plan as you wandered
off the path, became lost in the desert, and got mauled by a wild animal. That must have been almost 4 years ago, but I won't let you forget it. Ever.

 

Did someone say there isn't much to this game? Did they even play it? It's ginormous. It's like saying Skyrim is about making a couple potions. It's like saying that playing GTAV is like taking a short drive around a block. It's like saying Fallout
3 was a climb up a hill and down again. Maybe they only played it for 15 minutes or maybe they have a terrible memory. It's NOT a small, simple game. It's packed with stuff to do. Hell, I spent hours riding a horse exploring. Rockstar doesn't turn out
simple games. When you buy a Rockstar game, you are buying a mental vacation from reality for weeks.

 

Saw the game for like 8 bucks... so I bought it, lol

EE, you're just demonstration how much of a friend you are where you allow you friend to wander off and get mauled by a wild animal. You could have told me its dangerous to go alone.

 

It's far superior to GTA IV and V in my opinion. It has one of the best stories in a video game that I played. The world looks beautiful too. It's well worth playing. It's basically a western GTA.

 

Like what Dr Black mentioned, I've also preferred RDR to GTA series. Definitely one of the must play game!

 

I just bought this for like $8 too...

Is anyone else as frustrated as I am with the controls when riding the horse???

 

Controls are a bit funny at first with the horse, but I got used to it quick and now it doesn't bother me.

 

It's up there with Borderlands 2, Grand Theft Auto 5 & Skyrim

 

I agree with most on this thread. It was one of the best that I played on my 360. Def. give this game a shot.

 

Controlling the horse is a little hard at the beginning, but soon it will be very, very easy.

Just wait until you have to lasso and break FIVE horses near the end of the game. It's easy to do one, but five in a row while chasing a herd is annoying as &$^#

 

I spent hours on my horse just exploring and found that it is possible to ride upto the very top of the snow covered mountains at Nekoti Rock.

And it`s a game I still go back to every now and again to relax with when I`m fed up of getting killed in everything else.

 

modders/hackers have destroyed multiplayer, rendering it basically unplayable. yet its still for sale (including microsoft directly) and clownstar games support is a joke, and not a funny one. i am now gathering *** of paying customers to take more action
because it seems everyone is in on this joke, a sick joke played on the people who a paying for it...
