    Red dead redemption xbox 1?


    Red dead redemption says plays on xbox 1 right on the case. The Xbox 1 refuses to play it. I spent hundreds of dollars so that my son could play his favorite game on his brand new Xbox 1s. Is there anyway to make this game work? It plays fine on the 360
    and the disc is not damaged. Thank you

    Hey there OneBass20607757.

    What exactly happens when you try to play? Make sure your Xbox One is connected to Xbox Live, as Backward Compatible games require an update to play.

    Same problem, system is up to date/connected to xbox live. I have Red dead redemption game of the year edition "plays on xbox one & xbox 360" both of the disks have the same message "This game isn't playable here. for a list of xbox 360 games playable on
    xbox one go to xbox.com/backcompat. (0x8082000c). Have no clue how to fix this spent my whole weekend trying to do it please help.

    I am playing Assassin's creed 2 on my Xbox S and cannot retrieve my saved games from the cloud or console ?

    Strangely it hasn't been a problem for Red dead Redemption 1 OR Assassins Creed 1 ( both on xbox 360).
