Red Dead Redemption Joins The Back Compat List this Friday!

Recently I've spent more time on 360 games on the xb1 than xb1 games.

 

Ive mothballed my 360 but still have games on the shelf, favourite titles that I like to think I will play again and others that will definitely be played at least once a year, (Gears!) so the more titles like Red Dead that become BC the better. Choices
are always good..

 

i binned my 360 and never finished RDR as i messed around on MP.. cant wait to crack through it come friday

 

Its funny how now games have to graphically superior to be worth playing LOL!! RDR would hold its own graphically anyway, it was one of the best on the 360 and more importantly the story is second to none. I actually felt involved with John Marston a
superb game character. And I bet anyone who played it and actually unlocked Mexico will never forget that moment when a certain song (forget the title) started playing as John started to cross the border. A proper goosebump moment for me and one of the
all time best gaming moments in my book.

 

I have a couple Red Dead R. ach. That were glitched for early ( no update ) finish. Looking forward to starting over and finally getting them after all. Any wanna start a posse in the wilderness?...

Xbox One Back Compat continues to impress. Keep the 360 games coming!

As for the haters who don't want to play the 360 games on there X1's.... well don't then. Easy. Some people react as though it is a sin to have a last gen game work on the new gen. There are 360 games that are gems (RDR is one) and if MS and the publishers
want to give that option to the X1 customers... great!

I'm disappointed with Ubi not allowing quite a bit of there games to be as bc.

I do plan on picking up Red Dead sometime down the road since I never got a chance to play the game back when it was released.

 

Rockstar has released allot of their PS2 games with trophies on the PS4, they run extremely well. I think doing the same on xb1 would be a breeze. Also, not one person on the psn forum I frequent has mentioned this about Red Dead though they have with Bio
Shock which was meant to be BC.

 

Still have the game on disc for 360, but never beat it, and have been waiting for it to release on BC, so I'm through the roof with this news (which I found out about when it was announced). I wanted a digital copy though so I wouldn't have to rely on the
disc though, so I spent the $8 to get it while it was on sale and already have it pre-downloaded and ready to go for Friday.

Since I already have the disc, though, I decided to see if I could play it early, online or off, on my XB1 - sadly, it seems MS knows their stuff, since neither worked.

Ok, well I'm going to install it and see if I like the game more now. I like rockstar games , just didn't get into this or state of emergency.

 

Red Dead Redemption added today. Can't get any savegames or achievements from the 360 to Xbox One. DLC fine though.

 

Reports are saying that the game runs better on the Xbox One than it did on the 360.

The game is 6 years old and I can't believe how good it still looks.
