    Red Dead Redemption II crashes on Xbox One X on first chapter


    Hello, I'm wondering if anyone else has any issues with this game loading. What happens is right at the beginning where I take control of character on Chapter one of the game on very first play through it immediately shuts down the xbox one and claims that
    it overheated when I restart, BUT, its well ventilated, I even have a cool fan near it to circulate the heat away and I've never had any issues playing other games for hours and hours. It only does it for this game, I'm running latest update for Xbox One
    X as well.

    This is also my first real game on game pass and if this is the sort of thing that I'll run into I might as well stop that service as the other games on there really don't appeal to me. So my questions to others and their experiences with this game is common
    enough to see if a real solution was found and keep game pass?

    Thank you for taking the time to read and for those providing suggestions. I'm pretty tech savy so please no simple restart etc solutions, thanks.

    no issue on that game , but just make sure there are not any xbox updates. There are no issues on the game however just make sure your memory for your storage is adequate

    I recently started playing that too, and for me, everything was smooth and normal, up until about 1-2 minutes into walking through the blizzard, it sounded like my Xbox One X was a jet engine, then I started to notice heavy frame drops, but no crashes
    or anything of the sort, the engine sounds did stop after that mission. I'm guessing it's just so graphicly demanding on the console. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what you'll be able to do to get around this, sorry. :(

    Other than maybe...playing on a really cold day?
