I get to the part where it says I need to long in, so I click on the "download profile" button, and it says it can't find server connection. then it sends me to check my connect, which is working perfectly fine. I just wasted a lot of money on the xbox
one s console, so I hope there's a solution.

Make sure your password is not longer than 16 characters

If you have two step verification turned on either turn it off or use your app password

Hi there,

When you have the game launched, and before doing anything else in the game have you confirmed that you are signed into the 360 side of things?

Press both the menu and view buttons at the same time on the controller (the two small ones on either side of the guide button). That will bring up the 360 Xbox Guide dashboard where you can sign in there.

When I've run into troubles with backward compatible games giving me profile issues, that has been the fix.

When I do, it tells me the same issue; "can't connect to xbox live. select test connect to troubleshoot your connection." and the test is always good.

Red Dead Redemption is for Xbox 360, and I have an Xbox One. Whenever I try to play, I get immediately disconnected from Xbox Live.
