    Red dead redemption error message when opening


    I downloaded the game and go to open it. Error message pops up saying game may not be available yet and to wait for its release. It also says if you are positive it has been released restart your xbox. Which doesn't work. So.. what do I do?

    Red Dead Redemption Error Message Help

    I popped in my copy of RDR and everything went fine, but when I got to the main menu it stated I had to download a profile in order to save.

    So I sign in, get the "hi Tony72495!" message, and it starts downloading my profile info.

    Then when it gets to about 75%, an error message pops up that says "Sorry, Xbox Live profiles cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later" and I'm kicked back to the start menu.

    I'm using the 2 disc GOTY edition of that makes any difference.

    Red Dead Redemption Error Message Help

    I fixed it.

    Go to Xbox.com and find your security settings for your profile, then find "Xbox 360 Profile Protection" and set it to require the profile to redownload the profile every time you sign in (this will also sign you off of all 360 consoles you were previously signed into).

    Since my 360 had been set up to automatically sign in, I'm thinking the Xbox One thought I was still signed in on my 360, and obviously you can't be signed in on multiple Xbox's on the same profile at the same time, so it flagged an error.

    At least that's my guess. I also cleared my Xbox 360 local data and did a console restart.

    Just follow those steps and it should hopefully be fixed.

    message says " this game might not be playable yet, if you are sure its been released, restart your xbox and launch it again. otherwise, wait for the release date (0x87e10007)

    Game is unplayable for me, right in the beginning while riding the horse with the companion I keep getting stuck in between the world.

    Hi! Xbox Live is currently having issue with that title. You can check here: support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status

    I suggest waiting just a few and then checking back on the Status page if your still having issues to see what the updates are.
