Discus and support Red Dead Redemption disc not installing or registering since new update. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have RDR for the 360 I also have two xbox ones I installed rdr on console 1 no problem. turned on console 2 there was an update today after that...     Red Dead Redemption disc not installing or registering since new update.


    I have RDR for the 360 I also have two xbox ones I installed rdr on console 1 no problem. turned on console 2 there was an update today after that tried RDR it doesn't even register there is a disc, it's set to auto play but doesn't work I put in battlefield
    it loads right away. the disc is not damaged as it plays fine on console 1 which has me thinking it is the new update I got today causing the problem.

    Any ideas ?

    Red Dead Redemption can't connect online

    I can't play online red dead redemption. Since update to Beta i can't join.

    Red Dead Redemption disc not installing or registering since new update.

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    Can I play the DLC on a regular game if I lost the GOTY disc?

    That's true for some, Red Dead Redemption for example needs the disc still. The stuff from bethesda, such as Fallout, is DLC you install from the second disc and only needs the main disc for playing purposes.
