    Red Dead Redemption Backwards Compatibility Not Working


    I bought the game on xbox one store and installed it. But every time I try and start the game it says "do you own this game or app" or asks me make sure I have the rights to the game. ive done everything that the automated support said and on xbox troubleshooting
    and still no luck.

    Can anyone help?

    Red Dead Redemption Backwards Compatibility Not Working

    Hello Nik!

    Currently there does seem to be a possible emerging issue regarding Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles being played on Xbox One. More information will be made public as soon as it becomes available. In the mean time I recommend you try uninstalling and
    reinstalling the game. Please let us know with a reply to see how it goes.

    Thanks for picking this up. Amd yeah i have uninstalled amd reainstalled many times. Still no luck

    having the issue, we recommend checking the
    transaction     and license
    for the game. If either the license or transaction does not appear, we recommend contacting the
    Xbox Support Team to investigate the issue. We will provide steps on how to complete this process. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Is RDR1 for xbox360 x1x enhanced by update?

    1. Yes. Since the game is backwards compatible it'll work on a Series X.

    2. Not all backwards compatible games have an enhanced update, but the Red Dead Redemption does.
