    Red Dead Redemption backward compatibility will not work


    System is up to date/connected to xbox live. I have Red dead redemption game of the year edition "plays on xbox one & xbox 360" both of the disks have the same message "This game isn't playable here. for a list of xbox 360 games playable on xbox one go
    to xbox.com/backcompat. (0x8082000c). Have no clue how to fix this spent my whole weekend trying to do it

    I'm sorry to see any issues with the console reading discs! If you haven't yet, try out all the troubleshooting steps on our
    Xbox One disc reading support article. This should get you sorted out.

    It seems to be everyone having the problem, and not just creed...I tried several times and it didnt work. What fixed mine was, putting the disc in and then starting another game and playing for a bit and then it starts to install the game...before i had the
    same error message.

    Is RDR1 for xbox360 x1x enhanced by update?

    1. Yes. Since the game is backwards compatible it'll work on a Series X.

    2. Not all backwards compatible games have an enhanced update, but the Red Dead Redemption does.
