Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition bonus code

I have preorder on Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition and have recived a bonus code that gives me GTA$2,000,000 for use in GTA V however this code does not work in the store. When the code is entered it starts loading only to stop and kick me to dashboard,
have tired to redeem it both on the Xbox and online. Not getting ant message saying the code is wrong or that it’s already used. The redeem prosess just stops and nothing happens.
