Red Dead Redemption 2 - Never received GTA Cash bonus

I can not express my frustration enough here. I have been chatting with Microsoft support and Rockstar support for 2 hours. I preordered Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One (digital copy) and was supposed to receive 2 million dollars in GTA cash. I have
receipts showing I purchased it, and has been confirmed with support. My Friends pre-ordered it the same day. On November 2nd, thye received a message from xbox live with a code to redeem their in game bonus.



I was told multiple times by the support rep i was speaking to, that no codes were sent to anyone to redeem the bonus. Obviously, this isn't true. She told me to search the microsoft store for my bonus... Yeah, I knew that was not the case, but i did
it anyway. Of course, nothing to redeem there.

All I want is what I paid for. Nobody has been any help and this was where I was directed. The only reason I bought this game digitally, and paid an extra $40 for a premium version was the bonus.

Please help...

RdR 2 2,000,000 bonus

Does anyone know who I get my 2,000,000 cash. Bonus in gta because I’ve pre ordered red dead redemption 2 ultimate edition but can’t seem to a acquire my cash bonus

 

Didn't receive Red Dead Redemption 2 pre-order GTA V Online cash.

I purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Edition and didn't receive my $1,000,000 GTA V Online cash within 15 days of the purchase.

Thanks for reaching out to us for this issue. Sorry to hear about all the back and forth that is causing you frustration. When it comes to that GTA V cash bonus with purchase of RDR2 promotion, it was sent out to the email address associated with your account
from Rockstar directly in the form of a Shark card.

Since you have not received the bonus, then you must follow up with Rockstar (the developer) directly as this is where the bonus should be coming from and is not something that can be issued from Microsoft.

Actually, what you just took the time to write is pretty much incorrect. Xbox Customer Support actually emailed me the code this morning and apologized. All is well.

The promotion was to by fulfilled by a code sent by xbox live. Again, the picture of proof of this was in my original post. The code gives you access to said "shark card." Multiple friends pre-ordered on the same day as me and all got there's though
said message. Why nobody there can see this (other than the first support person I spoke to) is beyond me.

Hello Michael,

That's great you got the code. The way the system works is you get it sent through Xbox Live message center. Sometimes like in your case you do not receive it. When you call support they are able to see any codes that have been sent to you. This is how the
agent was able to send it to you by email. When you get promotional codes like this they will never come by email any more they go through the message center on your Xbox.
