Recurring Teredo Problems

A few days back I bought Forza Horizon 4 to play with some friends, only to have my first encounter with Teredo. At the time, the error on the Network tab of my Xbox app's settings said Teredo unable to qualify. 2 hours of troubleshooting via google later,
my computer was finally able to make a Teredo connection.

The next day, I encountered the same problem, as if nothing had ever been fixed. That time it took about 1 hour to fix via the same methods as before, repeated ad nauseum.

The next day I encountered the same problem, and it took around 30 minutes to fix, out of sheer luck.

Today I have been entirely unable to fix my connection.

Here's a list of things I have done:

- Updated Windows to the most current version, despite its reportedly file-deleting tendencies

- Uninstalled my old antivirus and enabled Windows Defender and Windows Firewall on the default settings

- Set date and time automatically

- Checked services.msc for any incorrect settings

- Port forwarding ad ridiculum

- Tweaked Registry entries until golden brown

- Disabled and reenabled Teredo with different combinations of types and servers.

There may be fixes that I have tried and forgotten about, I've spent so much time dealing with this.

Help.

Ok so you know the hard reset but try this before you hard reset it. Go to settings then to disc and bluray then click on bluray.after that clear the persistent storage five times yes five times. Then hard reset and you should be good to go.

Are you getting an error like "cannot get Teredo ip" sometimes in the multiplayer test? Would you mind asking your provider if you are on a native IPv6 connection and if they maybe block the teredo tunneling protocol?

Because if you setup the one being in the DMZ and still get a strict NAT it maybe a problem with the teredo protocol.

As the 360 is not using the teredo tunneling protocol you do not experience any problems there and get an open NAT on it. Might be another indicator that this could be the problem.

Have you made any changes on your device prior to this concern?
Have you tried resetting your Network settings?
