Recurring 'Installation Stopped' Problem

Hey,

So I've been trying to pre-install 'Back 4 Blood' from Game Pass onto my Xbox One S but every time I try to install it, it gets to a random point before saying 'Installation Stopped'. I've also tested to see if it applies to other games and it does. I've looked all over the internet and done all the things that are supposedly meant to fix it but it still keeps saying 'Installation Stopped'. Is there any other way to fix this problem?

Just for clarity the methods I've tried to fix it with are:

- Clearing locally saved games then restarting the console

- Taking the console offline, restarting it, then bringing it back online

- Checking if I have enough storage space (I have more than enough)

- Checking the status of all Xbox services (everything's running fine on their end)

- Checking for system updates for the console (no updates required)

- Factory resetting the console

- Installing the game to the internal hard drive rather than my external hard drive

- Checking if it's the correct Xbox account (It is)

- Power cycling the Xbox twice

- Restarting the Xbox another 3 times

- Clearing the alternative MAC address

- And restarting the router

In case it matters my internet download speed is 16.78 Mbps and upload speed is 3.20 Mbps.

Unplug your external hard drive. Then do this

- Go to Settings > System > Storage.

- On the Manage storage devices screen, select: Clear local saved games.

- Restart your console

Afterwards try installing the game to the internal drive. Don't plug the external drive yet. If you don't have space on the internal, move some games to the external first before you begin.

I already did, unfortunately all the options they gave me were ones I've already done.

Do you use wifi or ethernet? If wifi, try to use ethernet because it has faster overall speed. Maybe Back 4 Blood is released on the October 12, 2021 which could be the reason to not work? You could use a mobile hotspot on your phone depending on your phone plan to see if it will work.

Oddly enough, this was a huge, recurring problem for me throughout all of May, but the problem stopped about a week ago and has been fine ever since. Haven't lost the TV signal at all.

Weird.
