Recurring freezing and flashing Xbox logo

ok a since a couple of days ago my Xbox has been repeatedly freezing in a game ( The division) and quite often in other games sometimes it allows me to quit the game and then freezes on my home screen witch is what happens with other games witch then forces
me to turn off the Xbox I do that then for 5 - 10 minutes arfter the Xbox logo flashes this hVe become a recurring problem and it allready tried a return to factory settings once and it also turned off background updates is there anything else I can try ?

Console keeps freezing

i bought my xbox 360 slim 250gb about 2 years ago. and all of a sudden yesterday it kept freezing. i couldnt even get to the dashboard it freezes when the xbox logo pops up. when the xbox logo begins to appear and does its spinning thing, the shadows under
the logo keep flashing and are really glitchy then it jsut freezes, sometimes with the logo just frozen other times just as a white screen. ive tried everything any suggestions? and could this have been caused by overheating or something?

 

Help with update

Last night i turned my XB1 on to be welcomed by the "System Update".

I pressed the button to proceed.

The update loaded quickly until about 74% then it took ages to fully download.

Now the issue im having is that after the download, The XB! goes in to stand by mode wioth the flashing white xbox logo on the console.

It wont stop flashing and i cant do anything. It was flashing ALL last night so this morning i had to rset by holding the xbox logo button for 10 seconds and try agin, But it happens again and again.

It gets passed the download part and the just stays on flashing the xbox logo.

Hi there!

I would recommend doing a power cycle on your console. To do this, please follow these instructions:

1. When your console is turned on, hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds. The console should power off (different to normal tap of the button).

2. Wait for 60 seconds.

3. Disconnect the power cable from the console, power supply unit and electrical outlet.

4. Wait a further 60 seconds.

5. Reconnect all the power cables.

6. Turn your console back on. It should take about 1-2 minutes to power up, and will take you to the Xbox Dashboard.

7. Sign in to your Xbox Live Account and start playing. The issue should be resolved.
