    Recurring Billing for Minecraft realms

For whatever reason when I go to manage my Minecraft realms to turn off the recurring billing it's not listed there, I canceled it about 4 months ago yet it still charges me, I renewed it today again to see if I could cancel it but there still wasn't an option to cancel it didn't even show up in the recurring billing. How do I fix this? I don't wanna get charged 16 dollars every month for something I don't use.

    :)

Minecraft Realms Not Working After Renewal

    Hi Killingslave!

Which device are you experiencing this on and what version of Minecraft are you using?

Minecraft Realms is a subscription-based service that lets you play Minecraft online with up to 10 players. You can subscribe to Minecraft Realms with the latest Bedrock Engine-based version of Minecraft found on mobile, VR devices, Nintendo Switch consoles,
Xbox consoles and Windows 10 computers.

If you play Minecraft on a PC (using the Java Edition), there is separate Minecraft Realms subscription service available. To learn more or to manage your subscription, visit the Minecraft
    Realms page
    on the Mojang website.

Note Only Minecraft and Minecraft for PC/Java support Realms. Console editions such as Minecraft: Xbox One Edition do not support Realms.

Depending on the device you are playing on, you will have options to make a one-time purchase or have a recurring subscription.

With a one-time purchase, you can choose to create a one-month or six-month Realm. These one-time purchases are non-refundable and will not renew automatically once they expire. With a recurring subscription, you will continue to be charged automatically
every 30 days, until you cancel the subscription.

If a recurring subscription is available, you can choose from two recurring monthly options:

    • You Plus Two: Allows you to play with up to two additional players.
    • You Plus Ten: Allows you to play with up to 10 additional players.
Subscription costs vary depending on the region where you live.

Note you won’t have access to Realms while using a Beta version of Minecraft. If you need to leave the Beta on an Xbox One console or Windows 10 computer you can visit the Minecraft
    Beta Guide and FAQ’s
for more help. Android players can opt in and out from the Minecraft page through the Google Play Store.

For more information in regards to Realms, you can visit the Minecraft Realms FAQ.

Why is my subscriptions not going away please let me cancel

    Hai Mura,

.Thanks for writing to Microsoft Community Forums, This is Brian and I'm an Xbox ambassador and I will be helping you today!

.So from my understanding you want to cancel the subscription or stop recurring billing for Minecraft realms subscription, I Will try and help you with the details.

.So when you subscribe to a Minecraft realm it usually comes with two types of subscription, Depending on the device you’re playing on, you can choose either a one-time purchase for the one-time or a recurring billing ( every month ) subscription.

.With a one-time purchase, you can create a one-month or a six-month Realm, These one-time purchases are non-refundable and will not renew automatically once they expire, With a recurring billing subscription, you’ll be charged automatically every 30 days, until you cancel the subscription.

.If you have a subscription with a Microsoft account ( For Xbox One ), you can manage your subscription here Services & Subscriptions , while signed in to your account, From there you can cancel your recurring billing subscription, which will take effect on your renewal date. For more information, refer the section How to cancel your subscription to Minecraft realms from the article Minecraft Realms & Realms Plus

.For additional information, see How to cancel your Minecraft subscription

.However, for any subscription or refund related queries, we do have a dedicated team, let me point you in the right direction. I would suggest you to get in touch with the Microsoft Store Support team and they will help you with the appropriate details.

Minecraft Realm new sub was created, trying to refund

Hi Sarita! My name is Darhyl and I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft Realms subscription refund. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

It's important to note that this is a public user-to-user community forum, and none of us here work for Microsoft.

According to the official Xbox website: you can cancel an Xbox subscription (Or Minecraft realms subscription) at any time. Turning off recurring billing will stop future charges for a subscription and grant you its benefits until its expiration date. You may also be eligible to cancel immediately with a refund; however, not all subscription charges can be refunded.

To proceed with the cancellation of your Minecraft Realms subscription and to check refund eligibility from your mobile or desktop browser:

Sign in to your Microsoft account where you have an active Minecraft Realms Subscription on account.microsoft.com > then go to services and subscription.

Select Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

Note: If you’re eligible for a refund, you’ll see an option to cancel immediately with a refund.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    Best Regards,
    Darhyl
