    What's the recovert process for a hacked account? If anyone's gone through the process please explain, I've given them information to confirm I am the owner of the account and I haven't heard back, do they normally email to confirm they're recovering or
    do they just do it and tell you when they're finished?

    Normally it can take up to 72 hours. With what is going on in the world right now it may take longer.

    If they verify ownership they will send you an email to the new account they had you make saying everything has been transferred to the new account and you can now use that email address to sign in with your account.

    Ok, thanks a lot for the help. Do you know if the account that's been hacked has been locked? I don't want the hacker having free range on all my progress and in-game items.

    my microsoft account was hacked into and deleted and i would like to recover the account

    My issue isnt trying to get back into an existing account. (The recovery proccess helps you get back into an existing account) im trying to get into my account that was deleted. Ive already tried to go through the recovery process and that was not helpfull.

    Trying to recover my account wouldnt work because i just remade it, thinking that it would still be the same with my game pass history, and onedrive 1tb monthly subscription, going through the rovery proccess would just bring me back to the account that i just made. Not the old one that that everything.

    So really if you forget your login info in 2021 none of these companies are willing to help you out?

    It's easy you must go thru the account recovery proccess

    There is no twos cents about it

    If you don't remember enough info noone will hand the account over to you

    Its upto you to keep your info upto date
