    Recovering old Xbox emails and gamertags


    I recently bought a new Xbox and I wasn’t able to recover all my old accounts I had associated with it. I managed to get a list of emails used associated with my number but they are mostly asterisks due to Microsoft security. Is there a way to see those full emails so I can begin resetting passwords I don’t remember?

    you should be able to recover the old gamertag with either the name or your email and just use the old one

    "If a different gamertag is showing when you sign in to your account it means it is a different email address you have used for your old gamertag."

    well the old gamertag has been link to another email and that email is a hacker , so i cant recover it

    I suggest recovering that email password's if you don't know it, if you cannot contact xbox support via phone to see if they can help to recover your old gamertag back.

    xbox live issues

    You should just need to press the Xbox Button and go to "Recover Gamertag" (It may say "Download Gamertag"). From there it will request your Windows Live email and password for your gamertag. Enter this and it will recover your old gamertag to your new system.

    (I am an ambas. but I haven't recieved my logo yet)

    I have a similar problem. I had an old gamertag that is linked to my now main email address so I wanted to change it, but I had deleted the old gamertag from my xbox so I recovered/downloaded it, and tried to change my email and I got the "Your WILD cannot
    be changed withing 30 days of creating a gamertag or if you changed your WILD within the past 30 days." I see you had to recover your acccount too so maybe it has something to do with recovered accounts being mistaken for new accounts or something
