Recovering old xbox 360 account

I dont know if anyone in the xbox suppoort team will see this but, i need to get my old xbox 360 gamertag/account back i believe i remember my gmail to it but i logged in with it on the xbox app and it wasnt the same account. It allows me to make the same gamertag but with numbers at the end and i only want my unique old name. im going to buy a xbox very soon and i want to put my old account on there, it would be very nice if i could get my old account back with my saved games, etc. I dont want to buy a xbox and not be able to get my old xbox 360 account to put on there, i havent had a xbox since the 360 days and i want my old nostalgic games, profile, and friends back. If anyone sees this please reply!

I understand you have already contacted Xbox Support regarding the situation but they would only be able to provide the account information to you if you are able to show proof you are the account owner.

You can't merge data between accounts. But you can change the primary email associated with them
