I have a new Xbox and have forgotten the password for my account. I cannot change the password since the phone number and email for my account is no longer in use. How can I recover my account and login into my new Xbox?

Greetings, ColossalChain60. Can you describe your situation in a little more detail for us? If you are attempting to redownload your profile onto your console, can you try redownloading it onto a flash drive as opposed to your hard drive? Give it a shot

I understand that you can now disable it through xbox.com but where was this option months ago? If I had this option back then then I would never be in this predicament.

I would also like to add that you can now
disable automatic renewal on Xbox.com.

That said try clearing out your system cache

as well as going to your hardrive and making sure your profile is deleted from the harddrive. Then try to recover again.
