    So I recently had to factory reset my Xbox One, and the problem is, it was gifted to me by my friend and I was using his old account. Now, since I don't know the email or password, I cannot get the account back. I have a lot of saved data on the account and it makes me sad that I may not get all that hard work back. I do remember the Gamertag but IDK if that will help anything. Please help me out! <3

    Greetings, ColossalChain60. Can you describe your situation in a little more detail for us? If you are attempting to redownload your profile onto your console, can you try redownloading it onto a flash drive as opposed to your hard drive? Give it a shot

    I understand that you can now disable it through xbox.com but where was this option months ago? If I had this option back then then I would never be in this predicament.

    Hello. Please make note that this is the windows phone live support section! So you may not have much luck posting this question here

    That said try clearing out your system cache

    as well as going to your hardrive and making sure your profile is deleted from the harddrive. Then try to recover again.
