    Recovering earned Avatar items


    Hello,

    I transferred my data from my HDD to my flash drive since I will be getting another console soon to replace the one that broke down a few years back. I will be using a flash drive as the primary storage.

    When I transferred my data yesterday, the avatar items I unlocked by playing games like Halo: Reach and the ones I downloaded from the Marketplace as part of a pre-order bonus did not get transferred over and were corrupted when I tried to access them on
    my HDD after the transfer. I am pretty sure I can re-download the ones I got as a pre-order bonus, but how can I recover the ones I unlocked from games?

    Any purchased item is linked to the account. This includes games, DLC's and avatar items that you purchased.

    Avatar items that were earned via gameplay may not be retrievable.

    Linking 360/One accounts and Gold Subscription.

    The avatar items you have bought and earned will transfer. As of right now the props are not accessible

    There are definitely select items available on the avatar store for free. There are some avatar items that you can earn from playing games sometimes. Of course, there are also premium options as well that you must pay for.

    You can not earn achievements for avatar items. Think of the avatars as your personal character, this is just here to better be able to make your profile more personal to you.
