Recovering deleted data

Hi!

The saves are on Cloud if you have the console connected correctly to the Live service and it's in "Online" mode. Once you re-install the game, the saves and progress will be synchronized back to the console.

If the game you deleted was a Xbox One game, then your savegame data should be safely stored online in the Xbox Cloud, unless you chose to delete the savegame data from "all" consoles.

If you only deleted the local savegame storage, simply launch the game (after installing it, if necessary), and then let the console synchronize your savegame from the cloud.

If there is a conflict about the local savegame and cloud savegame, make sure to choose the cloud version in the confirmation dialogue.

Games are saved to the cloud if you are connected to the internet.

If the cloud save wasn't synced, you can't get your save data back.

Depending on the way you've deleted your game, you also deleted save data..

You can see if the data is still there when you go to my games and apps and check if the save data is still there.

May I also ask if you delete a game does it also delete the saved game progress you have made?

if this happens on a Xbox One or Xbox Series console and the console is connected to Xbox Live (internet) then save games is synchronized to Xbox Live, so downloading a game again shouldn't result in losing any progress.

In regards to the games being deleted, if that happens automatically then there could be something wrong with the device and it may needs servicing or replacing.
