Recovering an account

I'm trying to recover my old account. I know the gamertag and the email used on the account but I don't know the passwords. I've called the 18004MYXBOX number and whoever I talked to didn't help and told me to try the recovery system on the website that
only asks for the old passwords and the debit card info that made purchases on the account.

I haven't used the account since about 2013 and I don't remember the passwords and the debit card info was my moms from her old bank.

Is there no way I can get my account back? I even offered to send them a picture of my ID but the man I talked to told me to try the recovery form online again.

I don't know if I should post the email and gamertag on this so I'll wait for a reply.

Please help

Call MS tech support and see of they have a backup they can recover from their cloud. But, you should have used a guest account to begin with.

If you filled the form out at account.live.com/acsr and got an email back from the recovery team saying you didn't provide enough information then if you have access to a console that had that profile on it previously the xbox support can escalate it up
with info about that console and your profile but if you do not have access to a console that profile has been on before then the only thing you can do is try to remember information about that account and fill the form out.

The account information is 100% your responsibility. When you pay for a service, you want to make sure you have all your info, right? Xbox Live support cannot help because this is a Microsoft Account issue - it's not Xbox Live's fault you forgot your email.
Best I can say I to try the password reset at
https://account.live.com with any emails you can think of - eventually, you'll find the right one.

It's best for a situation like this if you reach out to the Microsoft Account Team to see if they can assist with correcting the spelling error on your e-mail. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be something that a forum support agent would be able to do for you.

Your best bet is to contact Xbox support, either via the phone number or the support chat/email options. Without the old email or password, it can be difficult, so you'll probably need other identifying information like the name on the account, birthdate,
anything else you may have entered there. The US phone number is 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

That's not the problem already went through security everything should be fine I'm signed I'm on this right now bit I just can't recover this account on my xbox
