    I have been trying to solve this issue for many years.

    May I ask what to do if your original xbox account had a live.com email address ? When I tried this the recover account link you posted reports that my original live.com microsoft account doesn't exist ? Excuse any ignorance on my part i'm getting old 🧓

    Do you by any chance remember your main e-mail address from when you set it up? I would guess that is probably your Live ID, maybe check through all of your e-mails to see if you have any from Xbox Live saved in there somewhere.
