Recover old gamertag??

I've been trying to Recover my old account sense 2015. I got an Xbox 360 sense it was first released the holiday of 2015 And been a member of Xbox live. It all started when I went to prison in 2011 I have my password and email to my buddy to sign in every
once in awhile to keep my account active. After I got out of prison in 2015. I could no longer access my account. I talked to my buddy and he says he don' know what happened. My brother is still friends with my account and it has been inactive. I dont know
what to do I've spent so much time on that gamer tag halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, halo reach. All the advancements. I've collected DLC, MUSIC VIDEOS. I'e contacted Xbox customer support but they think I'm still gonna have the same credit card number. And the same
vin number. I need my old account back. I even made my new gamer tag the same just added numbers to the end.

Recover Old Gamertag

Okay so, here is my problem.

(The Gamertag was created on an xbox 360)

I have an old gamertag which was linked to a very old email account, which unfortunately no longer exist. So it is impossible to access or recover.

I knew everything about the no-longer existing account username password and gamertag associated with it. I've tried to recover it but when entered the address i get the message "This account doesn't exist". (or something like that) soooo....

So my thinking was I would re-create the email account that was deleted and be able to access the old gamertag. This didn't work. When i did this it just made a new Live ID.





Now i'm thinking if the gamertag isn't registered to the once deleted account what is it registered to? and if possible how can i get it back?

I really want to play with the gamertag again with all its saved data and information unlocked achievements and friends.

I no longer have the original xbox 360 that it was created on. Though i do have a 360 and an xbox one.

Any help or information is appreciated.

RECOVER OLD MESSAGES

Is there any way I can recover a message I once sent ages ago? Was clearing messages out a little while ago, and deleted a particular thread I didn't want deleted!

1. you would need to start out at account.live.com/acsr and fill out that form. if you answer enough of the questions correctly then you should get an email from the account recovery team with a link to reset your password if you do not they will still send
you an email letting you know you didn't provide them with enough information.

this next step will only help if you still have a console that your profile was ever downloaded to previously if not then you would just need to keep filling out the form with enough information as you can.

2. if you get the email that says you haven't provided the account recovery team with enough information then you can get ahold of xbox support by either calling 1800 4 myxbox or online chat at support.xbox.com/contact-us and they can do a password reset
escalation. they will ask you some questions about the account and the console it was on previously (see above paragraph) and they will send that form to their escalations team and if you provided enough good information on that form they will send you and
email to reset your password.

Again if you don't have a console your profile was on previously then getting ahold of xbox support is not going to do you any good.

each xbox has a unique identifier in the settings area and whenever your profile is downloaded to that xbox it will show up in microsofts system as far as the first date it was signed in and the most recent date it was signed in on that particular console.
so the escalations team can look at that console id and part of the questionnaire is approximately the date your profile was first used on that console and last used on that console and if they think the dates are close enough and the console IDs match then
they'll say ok hes given us enough info and send you a link to reset the password.
