Recover old gamertag no longer connected to an email

Just this past December I bought an xbox one, after having not done any gaming for several years. Being excited to play Gears4 with my son, I hurried home and hooked up the console. Well needless to say, I had trouble getting into my account/gamertag (like
I said, it had been several years since I was on an xbox, and I didn't even have my old 360 console anymore). So I begin talking with xbox reps, first with the online chat tool, and then by phone. Each person was very reassuring and kept telling me that recovering
my account wasn't going to be a problem, that there would just be a few steps because I no longer had access to the old email address connected to the gamertag....psssshhhhttt there were a few steps alright. Anyway, long story cut short...at one point a rep
that I was working with had me do something that caused my gamertag/account to become disassociated from the old email address (which really stinks because I had managed to regain access to the email account), but this wasn't discovered until later.

So now, every rep that I talk to says that they cannot locate my gamertag/account, and that there is nothing they can do to help me. This really makes no sense because when I use the "find friends" tool on the xbox one, and type in my old gamertag....it
pulls the profile right up! I can see my old avatar, my old gamer score, achievements, etc....everything that you can see on someone's profile!!

Now that I've decided to start doing a little gaming again...I would REALLY prefer to do it with my old original gamertag. Not only that, but my old account has games and content that I purchased direct as download content instead of buying discs at a store,
and if I can't recover it then those purchases are completely gone.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on how I can get my old account back?

Will I not be able to recover my old Gamertag? I do not have the associated Windows Live ID now

is my main Gamertag, I have another gamertag that was named Bossy Hero. I have not logged onto that Gamertag in over 5 months. Upon further investigation, I have found out that the name is now
Defil3d xXx, I am still receiving an email that tells you how much time has been played on the Gamertag.



I try to log onto xbox.com, but it says no Gamertag is connected with this Live ID, and asked if I wanted to connected one. So my Live id associated with Defil3d xXx (Bossy Hero) is no longer connected. How am I supposed to recover this Gamertag now? I'm
pretty sure the alternate emails connected are also gone too.

How do I licence the DLC?

You can recover your gamertag and download the game again as long as your connected to live your fine

You can do a drm transfer www.xbox.com/drm and redownloaf the game using your gamertag but the older console will lose access unless your gamertag is there
