    Recover my old gametag


    I recently created a new microsoft account (the one with i am writing this question) because my old microsoft account got pished, and the hacker changed the email etc... Now, in the past i tried to recover the account, and I succeeded thanks to the help of the microsoft team, even if then once I got my email back and sent it back, to use it I had to prove it was mine. I didn't succeed even though I had entered all the information, and now it has been deleted, in the old account that was deleted I had "ZioTanos" as gamertag, and creating the account with i am writing this question, i used my old nick, ZioTanos, but even the old account is deleted, why with the new account i get the numbers (#**** after the nick) if the old account is deleted, i cant believe that i got hacked and the hacked account is deleted, but the new account (this one with i am writing) cant use my old nick without the ugly numbers? The old account is aldery deleted so i cant do anything for have just my gamertag"ZioTanos" now in this account in Xbox without the numbers #****?

    I would like to let you know that, unfortunately, the gamertag assignment is automatic. It is not possible to remove the numbers if the system added them.

    is there a way that you can recover youre gametag, because i can change it because it`s from the hacker...all the notes are linked on me gametag

    when i log in on call of duty all the notes still there but when i login in with my acccount there is nothing

    what you can try is this

    start up the old xbox and save eveything in the cloud then afther thats done startup the new xbox recover the gametag there and get the saved games back from the cloud
