    ReCore limited to 720p on a 1080p display


    Windows 10 x64 (1607) ITA, ASUS G751JY (i7-4860HQ, GTX 980m 4GB, 16GB DDR3L, SSD), nVidia driver 368.69 (WDDM2.0), 1080p 75Hz native desktop res G-Sync.

    Tried the Demo today...

    The higher Fullscreen resolution available in ReCore for me is 720p. I have no option to switch to 1920x1080.

    ReCore is the only game with this bug over more than 200 games from Steam, Origin, UPlay, Win Store, I have installed and play always at 1080p.

    Help with Xbox one HDMI problem ?

    Did you buy the Xbox one used?

    Sounds like your trying to display 1080p on a 720p TV.

    1080p on 1080i Television Error. Please Help

    My roomate tried changing the settings on my xbox so that instead of displaying 720p it would display 1080p. The problem is that my television doesn't do 1080p. It only does 1080i or 720p. Now my XBOX ONE is stuck on 1080p and I have no way of changing
    it back to 720 because the TV wont display anything. Is there a way around this problem without plugging it into a TV thats 1080p?

    Maybe I've found a solution to manually force different settings:

    with a text editor modify file "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.ReCore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\render.ini", e.g. for a 1080p resolution:

    <m_Width>1920</m_Width>

    <m_Height>1080</m_Height>

    Xbox Series X|S and lower resolutions

    The Xbox Series S/X only has a HDMI socket for display, so it will only support that display option. As for 720p or 1080p, it should support 1080p, but 720p is anyone's guess, as Microsoft haven't stated if it supports 720p or not.

    Since your set is 720p, use 720p. The vast majority of 360 games are 720p anyway, so this is a no-brainer. The games are 720p, the display is 720p... Why use 1080p? Since your TV is 720p, anything you send to it at 1080p is just going to get scaled back
    down to 720p, where it started to begin with.

    I fail to see how 1080i is superior to 720p. 1080i is interlaced. So even at 1080 lines of resolution, only 540 are being displayed at any given time (with half the picture info missing). Besides, if 1080i were superior, why is it that 1080i displays cannot
    display at 720p, while 720p displays can display at 1080i?
