I'll be picking this game up. Kooks like a good game!

 

Looking at the gameplay it reminds me of a few different games with how the character runs, shoots, wall climbs etc

It does look fun though and only just over a week to release I believe

I don't like shooting things from a 3rd person point of view, so I won't be getting this game.

..........

With that being said, there are exceptions to the rule when a game has an amazing story. This is when I can " tolerate " shooting things from a 3rd person point of view

Was deliberately waiting until closer to release before throwing my hat into Joule's ring (talk about a play on words ), as I am *definitely* hyped for this game! I've preordered the Collector's Edition which comes with a figurine and stuff (I'll have
to check what's actually in the box since it's been MONTHS since I laid down a deposit).

The latest edition of OXM has a six-page preview (although the first two consist of artwork), and I'm hoping the game plays as good as it looks. The whole third-person, platformer / shooter angle appeals to me because it tickles my Sunset Overdrive hyperactive
itch (er, twitch?). Just *love* nimble characters and this one also incorporates a skill tree and a dash of strategy (you must target individual threats with the appropriate color-coded ammo or something), so it's certainly gonna be addictive.

@Lei Fang: If there's one thing I do know about this game, it's that the story will be VERY interesting, as it's been written by Joseph Staten, who previously worked with Bungie as loremaster of Halo and Destiny! Will definitely be keeping this thread alive
as the weeks go on!

@Old Lofty: And thanks for getting the spelling right - Re[capitalC]ore - as opposed to some forums where they simply type "Recore". Only one week to go! <3

 

Wasn't destiny's main problem the story or how they chose to tell it?

 

Looks interesting but it's a game I can wait for, got other games in front of this one to buy first.

 

I will get this game as soon as it hits Xbox 1. Also looking forward to forza horizon 3 later this month.

It looks pretty good. I was watching a gameplay video and while she was shooting enemies it kept having the amount of damage displayed in numbers above their head with every shot. That would annoy me so unless I can turn that off I won't get it. If you can
than I will get it just not at release.

Not sure I will like that feature. I know how bad I can play, I don't need a constant reminder :-/

 

Definite buy for me, just my kind of game,
