    Hey! so i was wondering, is there a way to record game chat audio when recording a clip? i was playing with a few friends the other day and recorded the gameplay and when i watched it back, i was expecting us yelling and laughing to be able to be heard but unfortunately, it wasn't :c .

    WTF... Game Clip voice recording - Why is this not possible?

    When I record a game clip on the Xbox One X my voice is not recorded even though all my mic settings are set to on. I'm totally confounded as to why this is so, since my mic is working with other apps and game chat. Supposedly this feature is built into

    I am using Xbox with El Gato capture card and El Gato Chat Link pro with OBS. Xbox doesn’t allow game chat or “hot mics” to be recorded. I’m ready to break up with XBOX!

    Recording happens before it reaches the mixer for party chat. It is copy directly from the buffers. You’ll have to purchase an external device in order to copy the final mixed audio

    Unfortunately, this is not possible. If you make a broadcast on Twitch you can save the broadcast and the party chat audio will be included. If I'm not mistaken, to include the audio in the clip it is necessary to use an external capture card.

    hey how did you use your mic in xbox app party chat in the first place? i launched "start a party (beta)" and it shows my mic, but i can't talk or hear anyone in the party chat. and my mic is the default recording device
