Discus and support Recording On Xbox in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So if you are running on a 4k tv then you can record 4k60fps but since the Xbox One X has the capability to record in that quality, then why can't it...     So if you are running on a 4k tv then you can record 4k60fps but since the Xbox One X has the capability to record in that quality, then why can't it record 1080p60fps without a 4k tv. Also the ability to control the bit-rate of the videos would be great.

    Game Captures show up in Xbox, but not in Windows App

    I decided to record one of my recent Call of Duty matches to show off a class. So, I used the capture feature on my Xbox. I looked in the Recent Captures menu and looked over my recording, to make sure that the recording was a good quality (it was). I then
    went to my computer, with the Xbox App, so that I could take the recording and edit it into a video. However, the recording wasn't there. The capture showed up on the actual Xbox, but not the Xbox App.

    How can I see and access my game recordings on my computer?

    Yes that is correct. I connected to my Xbox from Win 10 and then started the stream. Then on the laptop I used the keyboard shortcut to start the recording (Win+Alt+R). Let the recording run for 2 minutes and then pressed Win+Alt+R again to stop the recording.
    I then get a notification that the recording is complete. I then stop the stream and go to the Game DVR page on the Xbox app to review the recording and found that it is only 40 seconds long. I opened the recording folder in windows explorer and it is still
    only 40 seconds long.

    From my understanding you can record 4k/60 on the console but if you upload to Live it’ll be 1080/60. I would suggest adding it as an idea over at Xbox Ideas. Thats’s the place for suggestions.

    What im trying to say here is that in order to record in 60fps, u need a 4k monitor, if u try recording without a 4k monitor then it will be recording in 30fps.

    If your Kinect is setup just say Xbox record that. I've actually turned of the automatic record function as I don't see the point of it recording a save. If there's anything I think is worth recording I just say Xbox record that.

    "Xbox Record That" is a command that records your last 30 seconds of gameplay, if you would like to record up to 5 minutes of gameplay say "Xbox Snap Gave DVR" and you can edit your recording settings.
