Recording issues with Captures

So, I have set my xbox up with a record for when I want to take a snapshot of something that's happened. Now, it works, but it never recorded anything I said, not that much of an issue but now its not even capturing my party chat. Its just game sounds and thats it.

I havent changed anything and it started itself.

Any advice would be helpful.

Use OBS to record and set as display capture, gamebar will only capture application window and it ignores a lot of overlays, CAD apparently loves to draw elements onto overlay which some screen recorders ignore or cannot record. OBS will capture most but will also miss some.

I'm currently having this same issue, tried adjusting the capture settings but it's still recording clips without audio

ignore it i have the same, it states 2 minutes but im thinking that is for capture last moment and its not working right.

I manually recorded a game last night and recorded 47 minutes with no issues.

The only way your going to do that at present is a capture card, I would think it doesn't happen at the moment due to licensing issues, and copyright, in the same way some games don't record the sound in Record That.
