    Recording gameplay with voice chat


    Hey everyone I’m not very tech advance I know how to record my gameplay on Xbox but I’m wondering how do I record gameplay and also what me and a friend are saying? As I’m wanting to make videos we play Fortnite together he’s on ps so I’m not sure if this will make any difference, I’ve been told that I should get a capture card would this work for me?

    Game chat audio not included in recordings

    Xbox clips don't record voice/game chat currently. You can record the voice on a different device and then add it to your gameplay, or stream the content trough twitch. You can also use a capture card.

    But if you don't have any equipment, only the Xbox recording feature will not record the game chat/party voice.

    Do you have your Broadcast and Capture preferences set to mic on (under Settings>Preferences>Broadcast &Capture)? Also if it is on, check your volumes directly under Mic On check box.
