Discus and support Recording gameplay while offline in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I dont always have a wifi connection which until now hasn't been a big issue.     Recording gameplay while offline


    I dont always have a wifi connection which until now hasn't been a big issue. A few updates ago they added an option to move the tabs in your xbox menu and ever since then I have been unable to select start recording simply because xbox doesnt give you
    access to that tab just because you are offline so now I cannot record up to 1 hour which I need to be able to do if I am to record videos for YouTube which i do. Is this something that xbox needs to have an update for or is this just one of those permanent
    issues?

    Are you trying to record gameplay using Game Bar while streaming you Xbox to PC?

    DVR problems.

    Yes I have this problem and its really annoying. Having the DVR recording makes FIFA14 slow, sluggish and delayed in gameplay online and offline so I like to stop the DVR recording. Now however even with DVR turned off it keeps recording and saving the annoying
    auto record clips.

    This has been happening since the last system update.

    Actually it looks like I found the way to do it myself. If anybody sees and had this issue (and doesn't want to pay for more than 10mb/s internet) I use a 256 GB flash drive I got off amazon ($25) by Sandisk. On one end of the drive is the usb which plugs
    in the xbox and the other end of the drive plugs in my android phone. I recorded the video straight to the usb then uploaded the video to my phone using an app called MiXplorer silver, then downloaded a free app called "video editor for youtube" opened the
    video in the app and finally used the editor app to record and add a sound track on top the video.

    I don't own a pc so this seems to be the only way to achieve this. Unsure if it would work on iphone.

    Are you wanting to record shows from the TV, or gameplay?

    If it's gameplay, you would need an external video capture device and software to record the gameplay.

    If it's TV programs, no. Live TV cannot be recorded from an Xbox One.

    Yes ive tried factory reset everything and it happens in online gameplay but havent played offline for a while so i dont know .
