    Recording Game chat


    So I know that there are a lot of different ways to go about it. However, for things like Elgato Chat Link they are exclusively made for PARTY chat, where I want to record GAME chat. You know, to capture those golden moments when you assassinate a 7 year
    old on Halo and their mom yells at them for being too loud. I have the Elgato HD60 and currently record things through skype for my commentary, however that doesn't do me any good for capturing game chat. Any ideas or suggestions for a product under 50$?

    Recording Game/Party Chat

    If you use Kinect to talk you can use your capture devices to record chat audio. It's not ideal but it works.

    Not for $50, I would recommend getting an astro headset with a mixamp, you might be able to get one from gumtree or similar for less.

    As far as I'm aware the only way to record your voice chat (and optionally your parties chat) is by streaming straight to mixer and setting it to record the whole stream

    I would set The party sound to headset only

    And depending on what headset you have I know a few top headsets over buttons on the headset to fix the party just by the headset If that makes sense(?)

    (like my headset have a button on it for "super human hearing" and I have to turn it off when I'm in a party due to the fact my friend's voices sound like if they were screaming but they're not)
