    Recording game chat or party chat on Xbox series s/x


    Why can we not record game chat or party chat on Xbox series s? I switched from PlayStation to Xbox. PlayStation you are able to record your game chat and party chat. However I found out now that you cannot on Xbox. If there isn’t a way, I am considering
    to switch back to PlayStation.

    I think you are all misunderstanding the OP , I have the same issue , on my xbox one , it records the game chat in COD Warzone , on my Series S it's not . We all know xbox party chat is not recorded , but game chat of Warzone (not being in xbox party) was always recorded , now it's not anymore

Currently, the Xbox Series X|S allows for recording up to 5 minutes of gameplay footage, and party chat recording is not available.     We have two consoles in the house - an Xbox One X and an Xbox One S in the kids room. I have no trouble chatting with them (either via game chat or party chat)

    Im trying to capture in game voice chat when I record a clip on call od duty warzone. Im Im not in party chat and understand that game captures do not capture party chat.

    Hello,

    Xbox Clips feature are just record video/audio from current game, without your party voice chat. If you need to record video with party chat you can try to start broadcasting with Twitch (dont forget to record party chat in your broadcast settings), and
    then create clips from your past broadcast.
