Record Voice Chat With Game DVR

The solution to this is not use the game bar on a windows 10 PC. I want to be able record my microphone audio, as well as party chat, or in game chat, when I record a clip through game DVR. PS4 has apparently had this functionality since launch. Did no one
at microsoft think people would want to do this? Content creators, or future content creators? I know it's possible to record voice, as there is an app in the app store to do that, but it requires you to hold down the button, it doesn't work for what anyone
needs. Is there an actual solution happening, or is it going to be more "Use these other products we made, or go buy a $100+ capture card"? I didn't know I wouldn't be able to do voice recording when I bought it. I though, If it lets you record gameplay, it
must include voice chat and that, but I was apparently wrong.

DVR isn't picking up audio input from my microphone

I'm using the windows 10 xbox DVR to record gameplay. While it records other output voices it does not record input voices on the dvr such as my own. Is this a bug or are you just not allowed to record your own voice. And yes my computer's able to
run the app and games perfectly fine.
