"Record that" option isn't popping up

Every time I try to record something I double tap the home button but the hit x to record option and the hit y to screenshot option aren't there anymore. It was working fine for me last night but I turned on my Xbox and it isn't there today. I restarted
it and checked the settings it should be there. Any help would be great I've missed out on a lot of good recordings

Xbox app no longer able to record

It's a permanent thing. When i bring up the game bar the option to record isn't available as it says I lack the hardware to record for some reason even though I was recording for about a year.

Can't record clips with Xbox Game DVR

I've tried all of those things, though most of them don't really apply to me, such as the full screen/windowed thing since the problem isn't that it thinks there's nothing to record. It says my PC doesn't meet the requirements when it in fact does. And also
the shortcuts being blocked isn't the issue either, the Game Bar does come up but the record option is greyed out.

Hey there!

You should only need to hit the home button once. If you're still having issues, power cycle your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds. If you're still having troubles, let us know.

Turned off that head tracking for BF4 months ago so that isn't the source of the problem.Every time i use the Record that feature it says the clip is recorded but when i go to open the clip,it pops up as being deleted or never published.Started happening
this week.

My clips can record anywhere from 8-20 seconds. Never a full 30 seconds and it seems my options to record clips for 1,2,3 minutes etc. have vanished. I've tried to walkthrough to increase the time of clips but can no longer get those options to pop up.

I'm having the same issue. It used to work flawlessly, but it seems to be more than hit these days. It wasn't an issue until the last few patches. I'll get the pop up that says it's recorded but then there isn't a notification and there isn't a clip there.
This kind of defeats the purpose of the whole thing.
