    "Record That" Clips Are Cut Short/Not Fully Recorded


    I'm having a problem with the "Record That" feature on the Game Bar where the clips I record are cut two or more minutes short every single time I record a clip, and it happens with every single game. I have my recording time set to ten minutes, but whenever
    I try to record, the clips end up being anywhere from eight minutes long to even as short as three minutes, and it seems to chop off the end of the clip.

    Does anyone know why this would be happening or if there's a solution to it? I'm at my wit's end, and I don't want to have to use AMD's solution for recording clips because this is the most hassle-free way to record them.

    Xbox one won't record clips any longer than 24 seconds

    Go to your capture settings and change the record what happened to 5 minutes. If you press start recording it lasts way longer. Record what happened is for short clips only. Starting a recording has a longer duration.

    Are you spending time outside the game or are you trying to record it multiple times? If you go outside the game, then it cuts away from the clip time, and spamming the recording feature may also make your clips shorter than they should be.

    Plenty of people watch long game clips. Look at how popular some YouTube channels are that do long playthroughs of games. Of course it would be better if it could record longer clips, because that wouldn't stop the "30 seconds is all you need!" crowd from
    recording their short clips and it would also satisfy those who want to make longer recordings.

    I'm having this issue too..the clip will record but it seems that the 'kill' moments seem to be cut out of the clip automatically!!

    Also when saying "Xbox snap game dvr & when selecting to record last 5 minutes of gameplay it'll only record 2:30 mins and ALL the kill moments are cut out..I've only been playing BF4 lately so I can't say whether or not this happens with other games

    I'm not asking to change the 30 seconds random clip record just to add the option for people who do want to watch or record longer clips me personally I would like to record one of my madden game's and 5 minutes is to short but maybe 15 or 30 minutes is
    good maybe even 10 minutes but just add it in as a option is all I'm asking.
