"Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar" toggle turning itself off

Hi, I want to use the Game Bar but the "Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar" toggle switch seems to keep toggling itself off. This is evident when I try to use it when I toggle it back on, nothing happens, and when I go to its section
in 'Settings' again, it is toggled off. Slelecting another section then swithcing back (eg. from "Game bar" I enter "Game DVR", then I enter back to "Game bar" again) renders it off. Leaving the settings page open then pressing "Windows key + G" or even doing
that while in a game doesn't work too. Yes, I've made sure that my Windows has the latest updates.

1. Right-click the Start button.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Gaming.
4. Click Game bar.
5. Click the switch below Record game clips. Screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar so that it turns Off.

Disturbing messages from Xbox app

The problem is, Windows 10 has identified chrome as a game window. Perhaps you once used it to record your screen or hit the windows key+G accidentally while in chrome.

To disable the game bar completely, you can go to Settings > Gaming > Game Bar and click the toggle that says "Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using game bar" to disable it.

To disable it from popping up in chrome whilst leaving it activated for other games/apps, you can hit the windows key+G and in the overlay the appears, click the cogwheel and then uncheck the box that says "Remember this as a game"

Furthermore, if you want to stop the xbox app from running at all, you can sign out of the app and it will not load up in the background.
